The Gypsy Mama Hit Home

by Hannah Braboy on March 18, 2010

I normally don’t write a whole blog post about another blog post. I just don’t. But you know, something that my friend Lisa-Jo, aka The Gypsy Mama, wrote really hit home with me. She wrote “Why I very rarely have a “quiet time” with God“.

You know, I can very much relate. The loud times with my family are often better. Label me as a bad Christian. I don’t care. It’s true, though. If quiet times are what floats your boat, that’s great! But loud times float mine.

What about you? What floats your boat? Quiet or loud?

Oh goodness – thank-you for writing this. I love knowing that there are other mamas who meet with God in between the drums, and trucks, and dirt and diggers of life with children. ((big hug))

thanks hannah for sharing this one. A further reiteration of Isaiah 40:11b He gently leads those with young. I love that our God is SO personal and so outside the box of law. It seems He is perfectly content to spend whatever time we will give him, loud or quiet.

You are so very welcome, Jenni! Thank you for sharing that verse and your thoughts! I do appreciate it very much. I love that about Him, too. :)

Have a great day!
